Six Sigma Belt

Actually, there aren’t any specific amounts or formal list of knowledge and training is required for obtaining several levels of the technical and the organizational expertise. However, mainly there are these 3 specific certification levels to the Six Sigma leaders – black belts, green belts and the master black belts.

Green belts

The Six Sigma Green Belts mainly are the proficiency team leaders who are capable for instructing and organizing the Six Sigma teams. They can also manage Six Sigma projects easily from the conception and yet beyond. The green belt training usually is termed for one week of classroom training. This training would be held mostly in the tandem with company’s current Six Sigma project. The training will mostly cover for various techniques, quality and project management tools, problem solving, quality control and the data analysis. 

Black belts

As the component of training, prospects should be skilled for using various software for statistical analysis, like the SPSS.

Master Black Belts

 
Master Black belts make the highest level of the Six Sigma technical mastery. As they possibly can and need facilitating training of the Black belts, they would know all black belts can easily do. Moreover, they require understanding how theory of the mathematics would get linked with the statistical methods. The Six Sigma black belts need to be able to help lower-level counterpart while applying for appropriate methods through entire project process.
